Pastoral Letter

 The third pastoral letter of Archbishop Mar Andrews Thazhath was on atheism. The letter was read in all churches in the Archdiocese of Trichur on 9th December 2007. The visual and print media gave very big coverage for the pastoral letter because of the particular political anti-Catholic situation of the Kerala Government. Bible Tower Commissioned

 The BIBLE TOWER at Our Lady of Dolours Basilica, which is the tallest church tower in India (260 ft) was commissioned by Ap. Nuncio Pero Lopez Quintana on 3rd December 2003 in the presence of Hon'ble Minister Oscar Fernandez, Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy and many other dignitaries. The inside of the tower is decorated with art works of famous artists.
